OPUS 1 ~ Terrebonne Parish Cajun Country

Houma is Unique Amongst Cities. Originally the Houmas Indian Tribe ruled Cajun Country. That’s right, Cajun Country. The French Acadians cohabitated with the Houmas Indian Tribe, Eventually, the Jesuits Scammed the Indians Out of Their Land. The Jesuits introduced Sugar Cane into South Louisiana and put those Injuns to Work, Chopping Down Sugar Cane on the Catholic-oriented Plantations.  Houma was originally Houmas Indian Land. Now, The Native Houmas People still have a Blood Feud with The White Man. Our Government designated lower Parishes adjacent the Gulf of Mexico as Nationally Recognized Indian Reservations. A very dangerous place to fish from the bank or cast-net shrimp from Public Navigable Waterways. The Indians Do Not Believe there is  such a thing as a Public Waterway. They Believe The Houmas Indian Tribe OWNS The Public Waterways, and extreme violence continued from the era that the Jesuits enslaved The Indians and The White Man Invaded the Land the Indians Believed...
